About Me
Thank you for visiting my page. There's so much I can tell you about my admiration for dogs, cats, and other animals, but I'll keep it short & to the point. I've been working with dogs since I was 17 years old which has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge & experience with all types of dogs; breeds, age groups, physically impaired, etc. I graduated from UCONN & followed a career in Counseling, but quickly realized that was not my calling, so I took a leap of faith and started a full time pet care business in 2017.

In my time as a pet care professional, I have dealt with a lot of unique dogs, cats, birds, & other animals. They all have their personalities and quirks like humans. Everyday is different for me because I never know what mood my dogs are in. Sometimes they want to walk and play, other times they just want to relax and enjoy some quality time. We all have days like that.

I am confident in my ability to provide a safe, fun environment and experience. Even the toughest critics come around when they feel confident & safe. I have had a few close calls with aggressive dogs, but that never stopped me from trying to build a bond with them & gain their trust. I have networked with trainers and other walkers locally to gain insight on how to handle situations, so that both, the dog and myself, are confident & at ease, no matter what types of situations arise. I absolutely love my career choice & it is 100 times more rewarding than any other career I've chosen.

Unforgettable pup, Ella:
Ella was one of my first "aggressive" dog encounters. I was terrified of her that I wanted to quit dog sitting within 5 minutes, but I knew she was a sweetheart deep down. I couldn't get her out the crate, but with a little bit of time, a long conversation, & a few treats, I got her out and took her for a walk. Once we got back from the walk, she was attached at the hip. She was a loyal girl! Ella taught me that not every dog is welcoming to new people & sometimes it just takes a bit of time & quality time to feel safe & secure. Dogs teach me new life lessons everyday!
